Into A Journey

We are glad to present “Into a journey”, a group exhibition with six artists from three generations, who created a majority of the shown pieces especially for this exhibition.
While the pieces are medially highly differentiated, they are joined by their conceptual proposition to represent something other than that which they appear to be at a first glance.
The visual form - the concrete, produced object, sculpture, photograph, text etc. is paired with a second, mentally emerging visual form. This “superordinate” shape is the vantage point for the exhibition, and invites the viewer upon a journey into a second sensory level.
Each of the shown works undertakes this journey with varying concepts. The installation of the exhibition attempts to make this second sensory level visually perceptible with the chosen placements of the single pieces.
